Mark Mobilia is President of ADW | Acosta, responsible for the worldwide team of 200+ associates whom sell to Costco Wholesale exclusively. Mark began his career 25 years ago in Southern California calling on retail. As a Business Manager selling to the San Diego and Mexico divisions of Costco, Mark quickly discovered his true passion was within the club industry. This passion took him to Chicago in 1996 where he opened the new ADW selling office for the Midwest region.
With his aptitude in customer relations and client strategy, Mark moved to Issaquah WA in 2001. There he led the ADW team managing both Private Brands and National Accounts calling on Costco’s Head Quarter office. Concurrently, Mark was instrumental in developing ADW’s business platform for the Pacific Rim laying the foundation for the global infrastructure that truly sets ADW apart from their competitors today.
Mark and his wife Karissa have three children and enjoy spending family time together outdoors in the pacific northwest. Mark can often be found on the sidelines coaching and cheering on his kids as they participate in their favorite extracurricular activities. Mark is very active supporting their community by serving on the PTSA for their local school and working with the Junior Achievement organization.
Sean Lewis is EVP of ADW | Acosta’s Domestic Food and Sundries teams and has focused his efforts on working with Costco Wholesale for the past twenty-six years across Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain positions. Sean’s roots go back to the early days in working “in-house” with Costco as Rose-Chamberlin, through the Price/Costco merge and the formation of Anderson-Daymon. Nine years later through the Acosta purchase the ADW | Acosta Division was born.
Sean is focused on the area of strategy and has found the industry very enriching by learning from those who began in the Costco environment, his team members, to the clients who range from the multinational CPG’s to the entrepreneur who birthed a disruptive idea. The ability to learn and knowledge share across such a broad spectrum of Clients has and continues to be a driving factor for success.
You will also find Sean active in supporting youth programs for the disadvantaged, as well as engaged in the Seattle Tennis community.
Following his service as an Artillery Officer in the United States Army, Karl began his career in the early 1990’s with SACO sales, a small broker within the club industry that had a focus on automotive, hardware, and sporting goods merchandise. When Anderson Chamberlin formed in 1984 focusing solely on Costco, Karl took the leadership role with non-food clients helping them develop their foremost relationships with Costco. In 2001, Karl was promoted to Vice President of ACI’s Northwest and Business Center regions, shifting his focus and efforts to foods. Karl’s ability to navigate the ever changing club environment and exceptional leadership skills earned him the position of SVP within ADW |Acosta in 2014. Always looking forward to the next opportunity, Karl brings an exciting, futuristic vision to the corporate foods team.
Outside the office, Karl and his wife Debra are active with several non-profit organizations including the Friends of Costco Guild which supports Seattle Children’s Hospital uncompensated care. Together, Karl and Debra enjoy golfing and boating in western Washington, and are avid fans of the local sports teams including the Washington Huskies, the Seattle Seahawks, and Seattle Universities’ Red Hawks. Most importantly, Karl enjoys family time and visiting his native home of Hawaii.
Mark is a Senior Vice President at ADW | Acosta responsible for their US Food & Sundries business. Mark started his career with Costco in 1991, in an Orlando Florida warehouse. He held a variety of responsibilities in several warehouses and eventually accepted a position in Costco’s East Coast Buying Office in Sterling, VA.
In 1999, Mark joined the then “in-house” brokerage firm of Anderson-Chamberlin (ACI), which has evolved through several ownership transactions into ADW | Acosta. As SVP, Mark’s current responsibilities include Team Development, Client Development, and Business Development for the organization. Working closely with both emerging brands and established CPG firms it provides a wide variety of experiences and insights into “how things get done”. Mark’s ability to learn and share these experiences with Costco and clients is a key success factor and is truly what he enjoys the most about this progressive industry.
Outside of work, Mark is involved in the local Atlanta community in several ways – an active leader with local area parks, and as a volunteer with Bright Futures Atlanta. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids in and around Atlanta or the North Georgia Mountains, and is an avid runner who has completed five marathons and two half-ironman events.
Jeff has 27 years’ experience with Costco. He has successfully developed very effective selling teams over many years and understands the many complexities of creating “value added” Costco programs, within the unique framework of Canada, while balancing the objective of being able to sell successfully to all Costco regions globally.
After graduating from Gonzaga University with a Degree in Finance, Jeff began his career as a Partner in the Inaugural “In House” Costco Canada broker, CTS marketing in 1990. Costco’s rapid expansion and merger with Price Club in 1993 allowed Jeff to develop his team and expand the CTS operations to include Leadership over three Canadian offices located in Burnaby, Toronto and Laval QC.
CTS were acquired by Anderson Chamberlin in 1997 and Jeff joined their larger network as in house broker for Costco globally. In 2001 Costco Canada reorganized and created a new Canadian headquarters located in Ottawa, Ontario whereby Jeff relocated his Family and spearheaded the creation of the new ACI office to service Costco Canada nationally. He became General Manager for Canada and expanded his responsibilities to also include Non Foods nationally.
Over his many successful years managing the Canadian business Jeff has developed a deep relationship with our ADW Associates, our Clients and Costco. He has a deep understanding of the nuances of selling and servicing Costco Internationally.
Outside of ADW Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Sue and his Family of 4 grown daughters as well as the great outdoors, skiing, skating and snowshoeing and well as golf and hiking in the warmer seasons.
